The Project Manager is directly responsible for leading investments and internal and external customer projects. This will require developing new production concepts, floor plans, work flow, and line balancing. Projects will include but are not limited to, initial concept, design, supplier quotations, budgeting, infrastructure and capacity planning, installation and qualification of equipment and processes. You will work closely with suppliers, vendors, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Development while developing new production concepts that will decrease the cost, improve the quality, and increase the capacity and efficiency of the production lines.

This position has functional reporting of three project engineers
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical or any other related Engineering degree
Training and Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in project management
Certification as Project Management Professional a plus
Microsoft Office: Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
Lean manufacturing, six sigma principles, and 5S skills are a plus
Skills and Abilities to:
Demonstrate teamwork skills, technical, communication, and critical thinking.
Planning and timeline management for multiple vendors, projects, and internal production.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is usually performed in a production and office environment, utilizing lab, industrial, and office. The job will also require the employee to safely handle, use, and dispose of chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and write in a professional. The employee is also required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
