Water treatment – Wastewater Treatment – Separation Technologies with Membrane Filtration
With regards to the water and wastewater treatment industry membrane technology is the most innovative procedure to meet hygiene standards which are becoming increasingly stringent.
Our reference plant at the Marienhospital in Gelsenkirchen, Germany is a suitable example when focusing on these very strict hygiene standards. Within this application our BIO-CEL® membrane bioreactor (MBR) module is used in order to eliminate micro pollutants (hormones, residues of medicine etc.) from the hospital wastewater to be able to discharge the clean water into a nearby creek without polluting the environment.

Our membranes have been developed based on different polymers such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Polyethersulfone (PES), Polyacrylonitrile (PAN), Polystrene (PS), Polyvinylidene fluorid (PVDF) and Regenerate Cellulose (RC).
